As a confessed admirer of all things pretty and girly, my love of weddings began as a direct result of planning my own wedding in Rosemary Beach, FL. After years of working in Marketing and Advertising in Atlanta, I followed my groom-to-be down the Florida coast and spent a year and a half planning my wedding. It was then that I realized my penchant for feminine details and my tendency to be overly prepared lent itself perfectly to the organized chaos of wedding planning. And voilà! Fête Weddings & Events was born.
So, where did the name “Fête” come from, you ask? Originally from Toronto, Canada, I grew up speaking French in school and chose the company name “Fête” for all that it implies: a celebration and elaborate party; the true essence of a wedding or event.
Here at Fête, we’re obsessed with the details - from the broad vision to the daily minutiae and everything in between. We are fun loving, energetic and extremely detail oriented (this is not an exaggeration, just wait until you see our spreadsheets)! We welcome the challenge of developing new ideas with our clients and making their events a true reflection of their personality and style.
We realize this is a momentous time in our clients’ lives and take our jobs very seriously. That does not mean we cannot have fun and enjoy the experience- your wedding is a celebration and that should start with the planning!
